Basra Criminal Court Issues A Death Sentence For A Terrorist Killed Two Brothers Who Were Members Of The PMF

Baghdad – The Basra Criminal Court issued a death sentence against a terrorist who killed two brothers who were members of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Hawija district of Kirkuk Governorate.

The Supreme Judicial Council stated in a statement: “The criminal admitted that he, along with other defendants, killed the two brothers and mutilated their bodies in Hawija district, in order to create terror among people to achieve terrorist goals.”

The Council dded: “The ruling was issued based on the provisions of Article Two/1, 3, and 5, and within the meaning of Article Four/1 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005.”
