Director of Basra Agriculture, Engineer Hadi Hussein Qasim, discussed with a delegation from the French Total Energies organization, improving the agricultural and environmental situation in the province. The media of the Directorate stated that: "During the meeting, which was attended by the directors of the departments (Lands - Planning), the reduction of the impact of Artawi projects on agricultural lands was discussed, in addition to discussing mechanisms to support farmers and establish projects that improve the agricultural and environmental situation and reduce pollution in desert areas." He added: "Joint coordination was discussed in compensating those affected by the owners of agricultural holdings, and the joint cooperation between the two parties in implementing projects aimed at serving the agricultural sector in the province was emphasized.
