Baghdad, The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, said today, Saturday, that the assassination of military leaders in the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus will not go unresponded, stressing: 'Revenge will be at the appropriate time and place.' Bagheri described the attack as a 'crazy step,' adding: 'The United States of America is a partner in this crime, and Iran will make the enemy regret its action.' He continued: "The second stage of the history of the usurping Zionist entity will be its demise," stressing that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation revealed its true image. Last Monday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the killing of two of its military advisors and five of their accompanying officers, as a result of an Israeli raid on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
