Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested a number of wanted persons, including a "thief" and others "parties to quarrels" and seized unlicensed weapons and ammunition east of Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement: 'The security forces represented by the (Fifth) Division of the Federal Police, during security practices and patrols, arrested 13 suspects according to various legal articles, including a woman accused of theft, and others involved in quarrels, and unlicensed weapons and ammunition were seized in their possession, within the areas of (Hayy Ur, Al-Shaab, Sadr City, Husseiniya Al-Maamel, Al-Ghadeer, Jamila) east of the capital, Baghdad, and the suspects and the seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.
