Detachments of the Directorate of Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in Babylon arrested two drug dealers in a security operation in the capital, Baghdad. Babylon Police Director of Information, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said: 'The operation took place after receiving accurate intelligence information indicating the presence of the promoters in one of the areas of Baghdad, where a specialized team was formed to follow up on the accused and collect the necessary evidence.' He added: 'After verifying the information and coordinating with the judicial authority and the competent security services in the capital, the force raided the den of the accused, arrested them, and seized from their possession one kilogram of crystal narcotic substance, five narcotic pill strips, drug paraphernalia, and a pistol.'
