SANA'A-SABA: In recent days, the General Authority of Endowments initiated the third phase of the "And cooperate in righteousness and piety" project, marking it as a significant charitable and development endeavor undertaken by the Authority under the Al-Mabarrat Endowment Bank. The report received by Saba detailed that the authority's project encompasses a range of charitable activities, humanitarian aid, and support for the needy. This initiative aligns with the motto "endowment for what was stopped" and aims to fulfill the objectives of endowments. The report stated that the General Authority for Endowments carried out the project across four stages. It commenced with the foundational phase in the year 1443 AH, costing one billion riyals, followed by the first phase in 1444 AH, also at the expense of one billion riyals. During this phase, it was established as an autonomous project, becoming a key initiative operating within an efficient institutional framework. It mentioned that the authority executed the second phase in 1445 AH, costing four billion riyals, and in 1446 AH, the third phase was launched for four billion riyals. This brought the total expenditure for the initial establishment and the subsequent three phases to ten billion riyals. The report from the Authority highlighted that the third phase of the "Cooperation in Righteousness and Piety" project will target 15 activities and projects. These will primarily focus on supporting community initiatives and providing ongoing assistance to centers, schools, and scientific associations, including their restoration, maintenance, and equipment. This includes support for health institutions, charities, orphanages, outreach activities, and affiliated colleges and centers, as well as backing for bakeries and charitable kitchens. The report emphasized the Authority's leadership commitment to enhancing the state of endowments by leveraging their potential and resources in line with endowment objectives, positively influencing the resolution of numerous prevailing issues.
