Qatar juniors will open their 10th Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship campaign against the UAE on Sep. 4 in Jordan, according to the match schedule announced by the Asian Handball Federation on Monday. The 2010 and 2012 title holders will then take on Saudi Arabia on Thursday Sep. 5, as their Group C final encounter. The event to be held from Sep. 3 to 14 in Jordan will serve as a qualification berth for the 11th IHF Men's Youth (U19) Handball World Championship, with the top five sides advancing to compete in Slovenia in July/August 2025. The remaining groups run as follows: Group A: South Korea, Bahrain and Iraq, Group B: Jordan, Japan and India and Group D: Iran, Kuwait, Chinese Taipei and China. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the main round where the eight qualifiers will be divided into two groups of four, with the top two qualifying for the semi-finals.
