Aqaba: Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Chairman Nayef Fayez Monday inspected the Exhibition Center project in the Red Sea Port city, which will host key international events, foremost of which is the Special Operation Force Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) in September. Fayez pointed to the importance of such exhibitions, particularly SOFEX, in promoting the Aqaba region as a vital investment magnet, adding that the exhibition center is a strategic project that will boost the local economy and promote the region as a major hub and destination for business. He said the project should be completed according to the time schedule, adding that the center will generate new job opportunities for the people of the southern region and market Aqaba as a key regional business and trade hub.
