Baghdad, Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested a terrorist (ISIS) in a tight ambush in the "Latifiya" area south of the capital, Baghdad. A statement by Baghdad Operations Command stated: "A force from the 22nd Brigade of the 17th Infantry Division, in cooperation with a detachment from the (Latifiya Intelligence Office) and in coordination with the Intelligence Department of the Baghdad Operations Command, arrested a terrorist belonging to the terrorist ISIS organization." It explained: "The operation was carried out after receiving accurate intelligence information indicating the presence of the terrorist and monitoring his movements, luring him and arresting him," noting that he was handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against him.
