Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Thursday visited the 7th Royal Border Guards Battalion, one of the units of the Southern Military Zone, where he was received by its commander. The army chief, in the presence of his Assistant for Operations and Training, listened to briefings by the commander of the battalion on their operational, training and logistical efforts. Several recently built administrative facilities were officially opened by Huneiti during the visit. These buildings are intended to support the battalion's operations and provide comfort for its cadres. Huneiti praised the role performed by the Border Guard Forces in effectively and professionally safeguarding the security of the motherland and expressed his admiration for the exceptional level attained by the 7th battalion.
