Armenia announced on Friday that it returned four bordering towns to Azerbaijan, which it had taken control of in the 1990s. A 12.7km long border has been decided between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of border demarcation process, according to Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev in a press statement. Last March, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Azerbaijan and Armenia would move further to take actual steps on border demarcation, adding that the process has reached an actual phase, and the relevant committees will embark on the demarcation process and decide the border points between the two nations accordingly.
