JERICHO: Armed Israeli colonists launched an attack this evening targeting the Bedouin community of Arab Al-Milehat, located northwest of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, assaulting local residents and their properties, according to local sources. Hassan Milehat, a local activist, informed WAFA that a group of armed colonists, riding vehicles, stormed the community and raided several homes, searching and causing extensive damage in around 12 homes. He added that the assailants physically assaulted several citizens during the house searches, resulting in injuries to some of them. They further terrorized children and women in the community during the provocative raid. The assault is part of a series of attacks by Israeli colonists on Bedouin communities northwest of Jericho. The recurring pattern involves incursions into their communities, restricting expansion and residency, as well as preventing citizens from herding their livestock.
