Basra Police Command announced today, Thursday, the dispersal of an armed brawl and the arrest of four suspects from both sides in Al-Hartha District. The Command said in a statement that after receiving news from the central control about the brawl, the detachments of the provincial police command (Al-Hartha Police Department, Abu Sakheer Police Station, and the North Basra Police Emergency Regiment) were immediately mobilized in cooperation with the Basra Operations Command and under the direct supervision of the Basra Police Commander, and were able to impose a security cordon and conduct a series of raids and searches of the homes of the perpetrators in the Abu Sakheer area, disperse the brawl, arrest four suspects from both sides, and seize a rifle and ammunition.
