Cairo: The Arab Parliament Saturday reiterated that it stands behind Arab and international efforts to find a political solution to the Yemeni crisis in line with references included in the Gulf initiative, the outcome of the Yemeni National Dialogue Conference and UN Security Council resolution 2216. In a meeting in Cairo with Yemeni Shura Council Speaker Ahmed Obaid Bin Dagher, Arab Parliament Speaker Adel Al-Assoumi said the Arab Parliament supports the Yemeni Presidential Council's efforts to bring about security and stability in the country. The Yemeni Shura Council head appreciated the efforts made by the Arab Parliament in defense of the Yemeni issue and support of the country's stability at regional and international forums.
