The Arab League strongly condemned the criminal attack on a crowded cafe in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which lead to dozens of casualties, denouncing this cowardly act aimed at weakening the federal government and instilling fear among civilians. In a statement released Tuesday, the Arab League's General Secretariat reiterated its unwavering solidarity with the Somali government and people in combating threats to their security and stability, as well as in supporting the progress made by the Somali government in various areas, including counterterrorism and restoring security. The League expressed heartfelt condolences to the Somali government, people, and the families of the victims of this terrorist act, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
