Apple revealed important updates to the battery health feature on iPhones and other charging settings within the new operating system, iOS 18. The new changes include adding multiple options to stop charging at a certain level for iPhone 15 users, in addition to a special notification when using a slow charger. The only option that was available previously was to stop charging at 80% of the battery capacity; However, iOS 18 now provides additional options to stop charging at higher levels of 85%, 90%, and 95%. This feature works to protect the iPhone battery from overcharging, which leads to extending battery life. The system also offers another new feature that can alert users if they are using a slow charger to charge their phones. Apple is expected to publish more information about these updates when iOS 18 is launched to the public next fall. Source: Qatar News Agency
