ANKARA, Turkiye on Tuesday welcomed the meeting that brought Palestinian political factions together in the Chinese capital Beijing, where they signed a declaration aimed at ensuring national unity. In a press release, the Turkish Foreign Ministry hailed the Beijing meeting held at the invitation of the Turkish government, along with the national unity declaration. The ministry also commended China's contributions to the reconciliation process among different Palestinian factions. It also voiced hope that the longstanding efforts aimed at ensuring inter-Palestinian political unity in Palestine would bear fruit at an early date. Earlier in the day, China announced that Palestinian factions had agreed to form a temporary national unity government. Source: Kuwait News Agency
