The Turkish Foreign Ministry Friday lashed out at a recent Israeli occupation decision to "legalize" some settlement outposts and approve new others as a breach of international law. "Israel's decision to legalize some settlement outposts and to approve new housing units in the occupied West Bank are flagrant violations of international law," the ministry said in a press release. It decried such steps as evidence of an Israeli occupation attempt to make the occupation permanent and no intention of achieving peace. In this context, the ministry called on the international community to take a "firm and principled stand against Israel's attempts to normalize the occupation". Source: Kuwait News Agency
