Awad added that the arrest campaign has so far resulted in the arrest of 35 citizens, including former prisoners and the elderly. An occupation bulldozer also closed a number of main and secondary roads with dirt mounds and cement cubes, preventing citizens from moving, imposing a military c ordon on Beit Ummar from all directions, confiscating dozens of illegal vehicles and an agricultural tractor, and forcing their owners to drive them to the 'Kermei Tzur' settlement. The occupation soldiers had climbed onto the roofs of a number of houses in the town and threw stun grenades at citizens and forced shop owners to close them at gunpoint.
