Anbar Criminal Court issued a life sentence against a drug dealer for the crime of drug trafficking. The Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council explained that "the convict was found in his possession of forty-two thousand and ninety amphetamine pills with the intent to trade and sell them among users." It added that "the ruling was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article 28/First of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of 2017." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
