The Maritime Security Center in the Sultanate of Oman announced today, Monday, the capsizing of an oil tanker flying the flag of the United Republic of the Comoros, 25 nautical miles southeast of Ras Madrakah, in the Wilayat of Duqm. The Center confirmed that the search and rescue operation has been activated in coordination with the relevant authorities to deal with this maritime incident.
