An Israeli company commander and two soldiers were killed and others were injured today, Thursday, as a result of an attack by a booby-trapped drone on "Yara" and the launching of two anti-tank missiles from Lebanon towards the Upper Galilee region. An anti-tank missile from Lebanon targeted an Israeli military vehicle in "Tel Hai" near Kiryat Shmona in the Upper Galilee, and the Israeli army called in military helicopters to evacuate the wounded among its forces, while "Hezbollah" launched two drone attacks on two military sites in "Yara" and "Beit Hillel". The party announced in a brief statement today that it had targeted Israeli army gatherings, and said in the statement: "We caused deaths and injuries in an attack targeting Israeli soldiers at the Marj site in the Galilee finger," and later claimed responsibility for the attacks in Beit Hillel and Yara, confirming that "direct hits" had been achieved. Hezbollah also mourned five fighters, including four from the Bekaa, "who were martyred on the road t o Al-Quds," after it had announced the killing of 20 of its members in radio explosions on Wednesday. This comes as the Israeli army spokesman announced that the Israeli air force attacked military buildings and a weapons depot belonging to Hezbollah in Shehin, Taybeh, Blida, Mays al-Jabal, Aitaroun and Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon; it also announced an attack on a weapons depot used by the party in the Khiyam area, and artillery shelling of several areas in southern Lebanon. Last Tuesday, pager communication devices exploded in several areas considered strongholds of the Lebanese Hezbollah, including the southern suburbs of Beirut, areas of southern Lebanon, and the eastern Bekaa. The following day, Wednesday, another wave of explosions erupted, which turned out to be walkie-talkie communication devices as well. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
