Ishraqa Canon Bloc announced today, Saturday, that the house of its MP, Taqi Nasser Al-Waeli, was subjected to an armed attack in Al-Dulai area in Baghdad, indicating that the attack did not result in any human casualties. The bloc said in a statement, 'Today, Al-Waeli and his family were subjected to an armed terrorist attack on his home in Al-Dulai area in Baghdad by an outlaw group, and light and medium weapons were used in this attack.' It added, "This treacherous and cowardly attack did not result in any casualties, despite the damage to buildings and vehicles," indicating that "while it denounces this crime against the MP, his family, and other citizens, it calls on the government, represented by the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior, to take the necessary measures to pursue criminals and bring them to justice for the purpose of holding them accountable in accordance with the law, and not to tolerate these actions for any reason, out of concern for people's safety and security.
