The total value of exports reached approximately JD943 million, marking a 1.8% increase compared to the same period in 2023. According to the Chamber's latest statistics, this growth is reflected in the number of certificates of origin issued. The Chamber issued 25,409 certificates during the period, up 3.7% from 24,494 certificates issued in the previous year. The certificates of origin were distributed to various countries, with Saudi Arabia receiving 7,456 certificates, the United Arab Emirates 2,682, Iraq 1,667, Egypt 775, and Switzerland 20. Export values were distributed across several markets: Iraq imported goods worth JD463 million, Saudi Arabia JD78 million, Egypt JD72 million, the UAE JD58 million, and Switzerland JD50 million. The Chamber's statistics also highlighted the composition of exports. Re-exports of foreign products totaled JD474 million, industrial products accounted for approximately JD189 million, agricultural products reached JD122 million, and Arab products were valued at JD61 million, with the remaining value attributed to other product categories. The Amman Chamber of Commerce continues to facilitate the export process by issuing certificates of origin for Jordanian agricultural, animal, and natural raw products, as well as for foreign goods that are re-exported or purchased from the local market under specific conditions. Additionally, certificates for Jordanian industrial products are issued based on verified factory invoices and original certificates of origin, ensuring that goods are recognized as Jordanian in origin.
