An Algerian gas tanker rescued, on Tuesday, 30 illegal immigrants who were on a boat near the Italian island of Sardinia. The Algerian News Agency reported that the Algerian liquefied gas tanker /Tessala/ received an urgent call from the Italian Coast Guard as it approached the island of Sardinia to rescue illegal immigrants who were on a boat that sank at sea. It added that the tanker responded to the call and provided first aid to all 30 immigrants of different nationalities. The Italian Coast Guard received all the immigrants, and the ship then continued its regular mission. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
