Algiers, In a telephone conversation on Wednesday, Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf discussed with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for West Africa and the Sahel Leonardo Santos Simao the developments in the region. During the call, the two parties also discussed ways and prospects for enhancing coordination between Algeria and the United Nations to contribute to addressing common regional challenges at various political, economic, developmental, and security levels.
