Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani reviewed with the political forces representing Kirkuk Governorate the efforts and consultations made to approve the political agreement paper between the components of the governorate, and the mechanisms necessary to form the local government, in accordance with the law. The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement: "Today, Wednesday, Al-Sudani chaired the third meeting of the political forces representing the components of Kirkuk Governorate, which are part of the Kirkuk Administration Coalition." It added: "The meeting witnessed a review of the efforts and consultations made to approve the political agreement paper between the components of the governorate, and the mechanisms necessary to form the local government, in accordance with the law, in order to maintain peaceful and fraternal coexistence among the spectrum of our people in Kirkuk, without exclusion or marginalization." During the meeting, the principles of the political paper were approved, whil e some of the observations received were studied and reviewed, as well as an agreement to hold a session of the Governorate Council within an agreed upon time frame in order to begin the constitutional procedures to form the local government, and approve the contents of the political agreement paper.
