Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani offered condolences to all Iraqis and the entire Islamic world on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his pure family in the Karbala tragedy. Al-Sudani said in a tweet on the X website: We still draw inspiration from it for the values of victory for the truth, and the meanings of manhood, honor and firm faith. He added that the memory of Ashura is the birthplace of the highest ideals and the moral structure of our society connected to the Muhammadan message, just as it is our way to build a state of institutions, and the right of people to a dignified state that raises the value of man, as Hussein (peace be upon him) wanted and his principles for which he went out and sacrificed.
