Al-Sudani discusses cooperation with General Dynamics to rebuild military capabilities

Baghdad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani received, this evening, Tuesday (Baghdad time), at his residence in Washington, DC, a delegation from General Dynamics, which is one of the largest American companies that manufacture weapons and military equipment. During the meeting, cooperation with the company was discussed, within the framework of the government's efforts and steps towards rebuilding its military capabilities in the field of tanks and armored vehicles, as well as cooperation to complete a large workshop for the maintenance and development of tanks, to make them compatible with Iraqi fields and airspace. It was also agreed to launch a set of initiatives with this company in the near future, which comes within the government's plans to develop the military institution and support it with various types of modern weapons.
