The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, confirmed: 'The attempt to assassinate Trump reveals the falsity of the United States' claims that it is the superpower or the 'custodian of freedom.'' Al-Sadr said in a blog post on the 'X' platform: 'This assassination attempt is nothing but a series of compelling evidence of the West's manipulation of the brains of Arab and Islamic youth and third world countries, as they call them.' He added: "We must take a lesson from everything that happens in this small world of ours... especially from what happened in the United States of America... from the struggle for power and the derailment of democracy and elections from their peaceful path.
