The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called for carrying the Palestinian flag during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. His minister, Saleh al-Iraqi, said, "The day after tomorrow is the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and carrying the Palestinian flag has nothing to do with politics.
