Al-Razihi reviews training program for scout leaders

Undersecretary of Youth and Sports Ministry for the Youth Sector - Vice President of the Scouts and Guides Association, Abdullah Al-Razihi, on Thursday reviewed the progress of the advanced training course program for scout leaders, organized by the Capital Secretariat Scout Commission. Al-Razihi listened from the course supervisor, the Capital Secretariat Scout Commissioner, Commander Ali Shamlan, and those in charge of the course, to an explanation of the training content, knowledge and skills that the participants receive and the extent of their interaction with the course data, which lasts for a week During the visit, in the presence of the Commissioner General of Scouts, Commander Abdullah Obaid, the Undersecretary of the Youth Sector discussed with the participants the information and concepts they receive in the cognitive and skill aspects, stressing the importance of acquiring the necessary skills to advance scouting activity and activate the role of young scouts in serving the community and enhanci ng their broad positive interaction with the issues of the homeland and the nation. On the third day of the course, the participants received lectures on the role of the scouting group base, how to form and organize the group, planning and public relations skills, how to implement the acceptance ceremony for new scouting recruits, information on the types of fires used by scouts during scouting camps and outdoor trips, the benefits of these fires and ways to use each type separately.
