Doha: Al Rayyan SC announced the departure of Japanese defender Shogo Taniguchi from the first team during summer transfer. In a statement, the club said it had agreed with the player to terminate the contract between the two parties by mutual consent. Taniguchi joined Al Rayyan in the 2022-2023 winter transfer from Japan's Kawasaki Frontale.
