Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandlawi condemned the direct airstrike on a Popular Mobilization Forces site in the Jurf Al-Nasr area in Babylon Governorate, which led to the martyrdom and wounding of a number of heroes of the Mobilization Forces. Al-Mandlawi said in a statement today, Wednesday: While we strongly reject the continuation of US military operations targeting official sites and institutions affiliated with the Iraqi state, we renew the necessity of respecting national sovereignty, and we do not accept transgression or encroachment on it and on our security forces and our people from any party, stressing that the repeated targeting of state institutions is a blatant violation of sovereignty and a clear provocation and does not help build stable and positive bilateral relations. Al-Mandlawi offered his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, asking God Almighty to bestow His mercy and satisfaction upon their pure souls, to grant them Paradise, and to inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace, and a speedy recovery for all the wounded.
