Baghdad, Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, congratulated the Iraqi people and the Arab and Islamic worlds on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, calling on everyone to achieve brotherhood and peaceful coexistence, and to reject violence, extremism, and division. Al-Mandalawi said in a statement: 'We extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to our dear Iraqi people and the Arab and Islamic worlds on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, asking the God Almighty to accept our obedience and good deeds and to grant Iraq and its people security, peace, stability, and continued progress and prosperity.' On this occasion, the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives called for rejecting differences and unifying efforts towards the goal of elevating and developing our country, and being keen to fight everything that prevents that.
