The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed today, Wednesday, that targeting the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces deep inside the country indicates a preconceived position and insistence on provocation to make Iraq a battlefield and settle conflicts, while calling for a unified national position towards these violations. Al-Maliki said in a tweet on the (x) platform: "The violation of Iraq's sovereignty and targeting the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces deep inside the country is repeated, which indicates a preconceived position and insistence on provocation to make Iraq a battlefield and settle conflicts." He added that "the international coalition forces carrying out this operation confirms their lack of awareness of the seriousness of the situation that will drag the region into major conflicts that threaten regional and international stability." He continued, "While we condemn the targeting of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in no rthern Babylon, we call for a unified national position towards these blatant violations."
