Baghdad: The President of the Federation of Arab Journalists, Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayyad Al-Lami, said in a speech at the National Day celebration in the Iraqi press that "yesterday... the General Secretariat of the Federation of Arab Journalists met and took important decisions related to Palestine and the Zionist crimes committed against the Palestinian people. He added, over the course of three days, our Arab guests were briefed on Baghdad's landmarks, elegance and beauty. Al-Lami confirmed that "the Iraqi press always seeks to convey the truth, support the wounded and injured, and treat sick fellow journalists." He said: We agreed to treat the wounded in three hospitals inside Baghdad, and I thank the Prime Minister for allocating a huge sum of money to treat incurable cases.
