Al-Junaid and Obbad inaugurate National Hygiene Campaign 1/1 in capital secretariat

Deputy Prime Minister of the Caretaker Government for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, and the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Obbad, on Monday inaugurated the National Cleanliness and Awareness Campaign, 1/1/2024 AD, under the slogan 'Cleanliness is a behavior of faith and a collective commitment.' The campaign was launched from Bab Al-Yemen Square in the presence of the heads of the Social Affairs Committees of the Secretariat, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, the Services Committee, Adel Al-Aqari, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Ali Al-Razami, the secretariat's agents, and local leaders. With broad participation from the community, sectors, service offices, environmental awareness teams, youth initiatives, civil society organizations, voluntary and community committees, public and private institutions, and schools. During the inauguration, Al-Junaid stressed the importance of participating in the public cleaning campaign as part of the annual traditions implemented by the Municipality of the Capital to support and assist the efforts of cleaning workers and to enhance community and voluntary participation in creating community awareness to maintain a clean environment free of epidemics and diseases. He praised the efforts made by workers in cleaning and removing waste from streets, neighborhoods and neighborhoods, pointing out that the momentum and interaction with cleaning campaigns inspires pride in the extent of community awareness of the importance of maintaining cleanliness throughout the year.
