Al-Husseini: The occupation government’s official funding of the Al-Aqsa raids is a change of the status quo

RAMALLAH: Director of the Jerusalem Department in the Palestine Liberation Organization, Adnan al-Husseini, condemned what was revealed regarding the occupation government's funding, for the first time, of the incursions of Jewish colonists into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem. He stressed that the mosque is an Islamic mosque for Muslims, stressing that all the occupation is doing is an attack on the mosque and a change to the status quo that has existed since the era of the Ottoman Empire. He said the legal and religious status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is currently being changed with the support of the Israeli government and its extremist ministers. Since 2003, the occupation police have allowed Israeli colonists to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque without the approval of the Islamic Endowments Department on weekdays except Fridays and Saturdays.
