The Head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, criticized the construction of bridges in the capital, Baghdad, today, Friday, indicating that their value is three times the budget of 15 governorates. Al-Halbousi said in a televised interview that he is "one of those who object to the idea of the tripartite budget for economic and operational reasons," noting that "the tripartite budget restricted the legislative role of the House of Representatives." He added that "the value of the bridge projects that have been implemented at the present time is three times the budget of 15 governorates." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
