The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of confronting strange ideas and the phenomenon of drugs and atheism. The office of the President of the State Forces Alliance stated: 'Al-Hakim received a delegation from Umm Al-Qura Islamic Foundation headed by Sheikh Haider Al-Tamimi, and listened to the efforts and activities of the Foundation, and highlighted the importance of religious institutions in bringing viewpoints closer between Muslims and confronting challenges.' Al-Hakim stressed the importance of modernizing the tools of religious discourse, calling for addressing the younger generations according to modern tools, including the use of social media to deliver sermons and messages. He emphasized confronting the ideas that are strange to our society, including the phenomenon of drugs and atheism, and "we said that the treatment of these problems is part of the cultural and pedagogical part before it is procedural and disciplinary treatments."
