Baghdad, The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, today, Tuesday, praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's step to open more than one flight route with Iraq. His office stated in a statement, 'Al-Hakim discussed, during his meeting with the Saudi ambassador to Baghdad, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, the bilateral relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, the opportunities for common interests, and ways to develop them.' Al-Hakim praised 'the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's step to open more than one flight route between its airports and Iraqi airports,' stressing that 'Iraq is committed to its openness to its Arab, regional and international surroundings in a way that serves everyone's interests and preserves the country's sovereignty.' Al-Hakim highlighted 'the importance of the development road as a vital economic project,' calling on everyone to 'contribute to the success of this project, which represents a link between the East and the West.'
