The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, called on the international community to cooperate to eliminate terrorism and dry up its sources.
Al-Hakim said in a statement: We received with pain the news of the two suicide attacks in Pakistan, one of which targeted crowds of worshipers as they were preparing to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday in Baluchistan, while the other targeted a mosque in the south of the city of Peshawar.
He added: While we strongly condemn such criminal attacks targeting defenseless citizens, we renew our call to the international community, especially countries affected by terrorism, for greater cooperation to eliminate it and dry up its sources.
