The ministry stated in a statement: "The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the Ministry of Defense, through accurate intelligence information and a tight ambush, the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate affiliated with the same directorate were able to overthrow a network specialized in the trade of antiquities in Baghdad, and seized 12 antiquities in their possession that they were intending to sell in Baghdad, where the seized items were confiscated and the accused were referred to the competent authorities."
