Al-Hakim calls on everyone to stand with the people of Palestine and defend them by all possible means

The Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, renewed the call for everyone to stand with the people of Palestine and defend them by all possible means and demand an immediate end to the brutal aggression, the return of the displaced people and reconstruction. Al-Hakim said in a speech at the ceremony held on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday at Umm al-Qura Mosque in Baghdad: "We stress the need to expedite the selection of the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and call on the forces concerned with the nomination to invest in the unifying atmosphere of the Prophet's birthday and agree on one of the candidates and reassure our people of their good choice." He added: "We need to inform all components of the Iraqi people that they are represented in state institutions, because fair and comprehensive representation is the real guarantee for building a stable state capable of facing challenges and achieving the aspirations of our loyal people."
