The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, called for serious work to dry up the sources of terrorism and besiege and criminalize its deviant ideas. Al-Hakim said on the occasion of the International Day of Remembrance and Honoring the Victims of Terrorism, according to a statement by his office: "The international community, governments, systems and international human rights organizations, face a grave responsibility represented in lifting the injustice of the victims of terrorism who paid their bodies and souls as a price and tax in the face of a hateful and destructive ideology, which requires a serious stand to work hard to dry up the sources of terrorism and besiege and criminalize its deviant ideas." He added: "What is happening in Gaza today in terms of massacres committed by the Israeli occupation entity against our oppressed people is shocking to humanity, and is classified as crimes of genocide against a besieged people. It requires the victory of the international will and human c onscience, and working with all available means to stop the heinous violations that have put the credibility of the international community to the test and the edge of danger."
