The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the head of the Parliamentary Rights Bloc, MP Saud al-Saadi, developments in the Iraqi political scene and upcoming entitlements, especially the selection of a new Speaker of the House of Representatives. During the meeting, al-Hakim reiterated, according to a statement by his office, the importance of accelerating the selection of a new Speaker of the House of Representatives and the importance of the candidate being characterized by integrity, competence and leadership qualities, and being a true representative of his component and popular arena. Al-Hakim stressed the need for everyone to unite in order to preserve the achieved stability and work to transform it into a permanent one, as it is a basic condition for moving the wheel of reconstruction, development and providing services.
