Doha: Al Gharafa SC, the fifth-placed team in the Qatar Football League (Ooredoo Stars League) has announced the appointment of Spaniard Gerard Nous as technical director of the club's youth categories. The club said in a statement posted on its official website Wednesday that Nous has become the coach of the youth categories, after coordination and consultation with the Technical Development Department of the Qatar Football Association (QFA). Gerard Nous coached the youth categories at Liverpool FC in 2007, then moved to Ghana as an assistant coach for the first team from 2014 to 2017. Source: Qatar News Agency
