The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh Al-Fayyad, confirmed today, Saturday, that Iraq today is victorious for Gaza and all the values of truth. Al-Fayyad said in a speech he delivered during the memorial ceremony on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the martyrdom of Commander Abu Muntadhar al-Muhammadawi, according to a statement by the Popular Mobilization Commission, 'The Popular Mobilization Commission is honored to commemorate the ninth anniversary of the martyrdom of a hero of liberation and a towering stature of the martyrs, who is the martyr Commander Abu Muntadhar Al-Muhammadawi and his companions, the martyrs,' stressing that 'the martyr Abu Muntadhar Al-Muhammadawi was in a high rank because he was brave, loyal, courageous, and visionary.' He added, "Martyrdom is a weapon whose limits cannot be known, and the men who carry this readiness are the protectors of honor, home, dignity, and sovereignty," continuing: "We in the Popular Mobilization Commission have no value except by commemorating the martyrs and educating ourselves and our generations on these values." Al-Fayyad touched on the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, noting that 'the forces of arrogance have mobilized their forces to eliminate Gaza, which in turn is mobilizing all free people to break the equation of domination, submission,' stressing that 'the equation of arrogance cannot be broken except by men like Al-Muhammadawi." The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission continued, saying: 'I do not find Gaza but a light of Karbala and an echo of it,' stressing that 'Iraq today is victorious for Gaza and all the values of truth.'
