The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh Al-Fayyadh, stressed on the National Day to commemorate the victims of the Yazidi genocide the importance of moving forward towards achieving a safe and sustainable future for this noble component in its land. Al-Fayyadh said in a statement, "We remember that horrific barbaric attack, which left behind bloody massacres that make humanity's forehead blush, a genocide that history has never known before in the captivity of women, the enslavement of children, mass killing, and forced displacement of an entire society. He stressed the continuation of pursuing the perpetrators, financiers and supporters of terrorism, and documenting those crimes in international forums in honor of the blood of the martyrs, and justice for the victims.
